Love Hues' future (share your thoughts! :) ) + thank you!

Hello folks!

First of all, a huge thank you  for all the different ways you have come together and supported the game!

Whether you purchased a copy, added it to your collections, played it on Youtube (big shoutout to EnbyKaiju and Chloe Spencer for their playthroughs on Youtube!), Retweeted my posts on Twitter or reached out to me to report a bug or your thoughts on the game, you're helping me achieve my dreams as an independent game developer. I can't thank you enough for giving the game a try.

A week has passed since the game was published, and it feels like it's been much longer than that haha. It's been very emotional for me as I reflect on both my past as a person and a developer, my desires to keep pushing healthy relationships to the forefront and both my future and the game's future. I wanted to catch you up on where I'm at with the latter.

Love Hues!'s future

I'm interested in continuing to grow the world of Love Hues!, if there's interest for it. Something I realized after the game was published was that I'd like as many folks to be able to try the game as possible, and I will continue to run sales and other events in the future to try and get closer to this goal. I'm looking at hopefully hosting a giveaway for some free keys on Twitter if things work out, too.

I'm also considering creating a small free spin-off of the main story, either as a prequel or interquel that can be played regardless of whether or not you have the full version. As much as I'd love to jump into it right now, I want to make sure that there's interest for this. If this is something you're interested in, please consider voting in my polls on Twitter regarding this, leave a comment below, or email me at lovehuesgame@gmail.com.

Depending on how much interest there is for a side game, I may leave further development for Love Hues! and move on to a different project, while maybe sharing mini-stories about the characters and their relationships with one another, or other game-related goodies. And patching out errors as they arise, of course!

Feedback, feedback, feedback!

I believe a critical part of my development cycle is feedback. Whether you loved the game, felt it was lacking or have ideas for improvement, I'd honestly love to hear your thoughts so I can create even better projects in the future. As always, I can be reached by Twitter or email or the comments here.

Take care and stay safe,
